Rakhi Bandhan festival Hili Border
On Thursday 11th August on the occasion of holy Rakshabandhan and self sacrifice of martyr Khudiram Bose, hili Apanjan Samaj Sevai organization celebrated this day with a special program at hili Sarada Bhavan library. Today's walk started with garlands and of portraits of Khudiram Bose, Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam centered around the "Holy Rakhi Bandhan" and martyr Khudiram Bose's Soul Sacrifice Day.
On behalf of Apanjan, all members of Apanjan along with picture of Shaheed Khudiram Bose, Poet Guru Rabindranath Tagore and rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, ex-teacher and philanthropist of RN High School Mr. Kalyan Kumar Kundu and Panchayat Samiti Karmadhyaksha Kaya Mandal, passed through Brind Prabhat ferry to B.S.F.
The members of their social service organizations offered Rakhi to the army and the members of the Bharat Sevashram affiliated "Hindu Milon Mandir", BSF Camp, Hili Police Station, Hili Panchayat Samiti offered Rakhi to their hand. Sweet is being offered.
