*CPI(M) Holds Large Public Meeting at Hisar, Haryana, despite Torrential Rains*
As part of the nationwide September campaign of the Party on people's burning issues that have been aggravated by the Modi-led BJP-RSS regime, on September 24, 2022, the CPI(M) Haryana State Committee organised a large public meeting at Hisar. Over 1500 people from the three districts of Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad attended, despite torrential rains for the last three days.
The three main speakers at the meeting were CPI(M) PBM Dr Ashok Dhawale, CCM and State Secretary Surendra Singh, and ex-CCM and ex-state secretary Inderjit Singh. All of them lashed out at the Modi and Khattar regimes, which were destroying India and Haryana respectively. They put forth an alternative agenda, and gave a call for strengthening mass struggles, forging the unity of all left, democratic and secular forces, and most important, building the independent strength of our Party and mass fronts.
The public meeting was presided over by Shakuntala Jakhar and Jagtar Singh, and it was also addressed by Suresh Kumar, Dinesh Siwach, Sukhbir Singh, Ramkumar, and Dayanand Poonia.
