CPM's two-day state committee meeting began on Wednesday. According to party sources, referring to the good response that is being received in the current program in the district, at the beginning of the meeting, the state secretary of the party, Mohammad Salim, reminded the meeting that the Trinamool Congress has gone on the 'backfoot' in the situation that has arisen. But that means the left has come to the 'front foot', it should not be assumed! BJP is also trying to raise its head again in this situation. The 'political arthritis' that still remains in the party or in a section of the left leadership, should be cut. Youth are ready.
The state secretary again gave a message in the meeting that there should not be any gaps in the preparation of panchayat elections. All organizational work including booth committee should be completed. It has been said that protest against corruption should not only be at the central or district level. There are many allegations of corruption even at the grass root level, local people should be involved in the movement with the information of all of them. Party sources indicate that Alimuddin Street may tie the outline of the program in this regard. After the meeting of the first day, in the evening, the delegation including Salim, Sujan Chakraborty, Palash Das, Mrinal Chakraborty, Shatarup Ghosh, Srijan Bhattacharya went to the house of the two dead students in Baguiati. On the last day of the meeting today, Thursday, along with the reply speech of the state secretary, the party's politburo member Suryakant Mishra is also scheduled to speak.
