An 11-year-old girl was assaulted in Nayapalli while she was working illegally as a house help in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the state of Odisha. The incident occurred in connection with a horrifying case of child labour and torture. On Tuesday, locals and representatives from a non-profit organisation called Childline rescued her from a street. According to the officials, her health was critical as a result of the multiple attacks that she had suffered.
On Tuesday morning, her employer hit her once more, and when she was unable to get up, the boss threw her out onto the road and drove away. Officials from Childline have stated that they transported her to the hospital and notified the authorities.

Authorities from Childline reported that her boss brought her on a scooty and then threw her near the Nayapalli police station when she was unable to stand owing to the beatings she had received.
Childline's investigation led to the arrest of Bibhuti Patsani and his wife, Sonali Patsani, who are both named as suspects in the case. Their son, who is still a minor, is currently being questioned.
