Under the influence of the cyclonic storm "Mandous" over the Bay of Bengal, Chennai, which is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, experiences some light rain.
According to the IMD's forecast, it is going to pass between Puducherry and Sriharikota with a wind speed of 70 kilometres per hour around midnight on the 9th of December.
