ONE of the suspects flung ink at BJP politician and state Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil on Saturday as he was leaving a party leader's residence in the Chinchwadgaon region of Pimpri-Chinchwad. This led to the arrest of THREE persons, one of them was the suspect who threw the ink.Patil was just leaving the house when another man attacked him by hurling ink from a bottle in his direction. The man, along with two additional individuals who were shouting slogans against Patil, was taken into custody by the police officers who were present at the scene. There were three different people While two of them were shouting slogans at the minister, another one of them threw ink at him. "The police officers who were present at the time of the incident were successful in apprehending all three suspects," stated Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Ankush Shinde.
