Air Marshal A P Singh has been appointed as the new Vice Chief of the Indian Air Force, succeeding incumbent Air Marshal Sandeep Singh .
Singh is a veteran pilot with a long service record in the Indian Air Force, having served as the Senior Air Staff Officer at the Eastern Air Command, the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas Project Director at the National Flight Test Centre, and Air Defence Commander at South Western Air Command .
He has also been awarded the "Ati Vishisht Seva Medal" by the President of India for his distinguished services . Singh is expected to bring his extensive experience and leadership skills to the top post, and is sure to have a positive impact on the organization.
