Camp Imazu in Japan is the location of a joint training exercise called "Dharma Guardian," which is being carried out by the Indian Army and the Japanese Ground Self Defense Force. The goal of the exercise is to improve interoperability and share best practises in unconventional operations and unarmed combat techniques.
This joint training, which is being carried out in accordance with a mandate from the United Nations, comprises platoon-level instruction on operations in jungle and semi-urban terrains.
