Instead of focusing on GDP, the party has proposed a new economic performance gauge that gives more weight to factors such as the standard of life and economic mobility of the average Indian. The purpose of the resolution that has been submitted is to examine different policy choices with regard to the production of jobs, maintaining healthy living conditions, and sustaining livelihoods.
