Public ropeway near Kashi corridor among 28 projects launched by PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone of a passenger ropeway from Varanasi Cantonment station to Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, besides launching and inaugurating 27 other development projects worth over a total of Rs 1,780 crore. The 3.75-kilometre ropeway project, estimated to cost Rs 645 crore, will have five stations and facilitate the ease of movement for tourists, pilgrims and residents.
