A tragic airplane accident near Long Island, New York has claimed the life of Indian descendant woman Roma Gupta. The single-engine four-seat Piper Cherokee aircraft took off from Republic Airport and crashed at the same location. Roma's daughter and the pilot instructor also suffered serious injuries and were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
