Imran Khan Expresses Strong Condemnation of Police Actions
In a fervent statement, Imran Khan, the prominent political figure and leader of the opposition party, has strongly denounced the recent police actions targeting his party's members. Khan expressed his outrage over the unlawful arrests and abductions of their dedicated workers and leaders, emphasizing the prolonged detention of Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Secretary General Asad Umar, both of whom have been held for over a week.
Furthermore, Khan highlighted the disturbing case of journalist Imran Riaz Khan, who, despite court orders, has not been presented in court. Disturbing reports have emerged, confirming the use of torture against him. Imran Khan demanded the immediate release of all female leaders, workers, and the female family members of party leaders and workers. He questioned how Shehrayar Afridi's wife could be unjustly imprisoned, suggesting that such acts aim to instill fear among the people, discouraging them from standing up for their constitutional rights.
