জব্বলপুরের সঙ্গে রানাঘাটে ডাকাতির যোগসূত্ৰ !
পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, এক মাস আগেই জব্বলপুরে একটি বাড়িতে একই কায়দায় ডাকাতি হয়েছিল। সেই গ্যাংই এই ঘটনা ঘটিয়েছে কিনা তা খতিয়ে দেখতেই রানাঘাটে আসে মধ্যপ্রদেশের পুলিশের দল। পুরুলিয়া জেলা পুলিশের প্রতিনিধিও রানাঘাটে আসে।
মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে পুরুলিয়ার এক সোনার দোকানে ডাকাতদল চড়াও হয়েছিল। প্রায় সোয়া এক ঘন্টার মধ্যে একই ঘটনা ঘটে রানাঘাটে। ডাকাতরা দুটি দলে ভাগ হয়ে সোনার দোকানে হানা দেয়। তারা দোকানের কর্মীদের মারধর করে লকারে থাকা সোনা ও নগদ টাকা লুট করে।
পুলিশ জানায়, ডাকাতরা একটি অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে করে পালিয়ে যায়। অ্যাম্বুলেন্সের নাম্বার প্লেট নম্বর ভুয়া ছিল। পুরুলিয়া জেলা পুলিশের ওসি অশোক কুমার বলেন, "ডাকাতির ঘটনায় আমরা তদন্ত শুরু করেছি। জব্বলপুর থেকে আসা পুলিশের দলকে আমরা সবরকম সহযোগিতা করছি।"

Police sources say that a gang of robbers from Madhya Pradesh may be involved in the recent robberies in Ranaghat, West Bengal. The gang is believed to have robbed a house in Jabalpur in the same manner a month ago.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group of robbers broke into a jewelry store in Purulia, West Bengal. About an hour later, they struck again in Ranaghat. The robbers split into two groups and attacked the jewelry stores. They beat up the store employees and looted gold and cash from the lockers.
Police say that the robbers escaped in an ambulance. The ambulance's license plate number was fake. Ashok Kumar, OC of Purulia district police, said, "We have started an investigation into the robbery cases. We are providing all possible assistance to the police team from Jabalpur."
