Shah Rukh Khan is on a roll at the box office, with his latest film Jawan shattering records and becoming the fastest Hindi film to enter the Rs 400 crore club. The action thriller has also earned Rs 800 crores gross worldwide and is on its way to crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark.
While fans are enjoying this super success, they are also quite excited for Shah Rukh Khan's next release, Dunki, which is scheduled to hit the screens in Christmas this year. In a latest interview, director Atlee, who is at present on cloud nine with the huge success of Jawan, claimed that Raj Kumar Hirani's Dunki will be a bigger success than Jawan.
"Dunki is a very special film for me and Shah Rukh Khan. It is a different genre from Jawan and I am confident that it will be a bigger success. Raj Kumar Hirani is one of the most successful directors in Bollywood and Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest stars in the world. When these two come together, it is sure to be a blockbuster," Atlee said.
Dunki is a social comedy film that also stars Taapsee Pannu. The film is being produced by Rajkumar Hirani and T-Series.
Shah Rukh Khan's fans are excited to see him on screen again so soon after Jawan. They are also curious to see what kind of magic Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan create together. If Atlee's prediction is true, then Dunki is set to be the biggest Bollywood film of the year.
