A delegation of CPI(M) leaders, led by General Secretary M.A. Baby, visited Pahalgram to meet the family of Adil Shah, a local hero who sacrificed his life while saving tourists during a recent terrorist attack.
Adil Shah, hailed as a martyr, displayed extraordinary courage and humanity amidst the tragic events, ensuring the safety of several tourists at the cost of his own life. The delegation conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the grieving family and expressed deep admiration for Shah’s bravery and selflessness.
M.A. Baby emphasized that Adil's sacrifice serves as a powerful reminder of unity and humanity transcending divisions. He called upon the government to provide adequate support and recognition to the family, including financial aid and memorialization of Shah's heroic deed.
The CPI(M) leaders reiterated their commitment to peace, communal harmony, and solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir during these challenging times.
