CPIM Tamilnadu state committee stood by the people of Sri Lanka with that help. Yesterday, the collected money was delivered to the state government of Tamilnadu. CPIM Tamilnadu delegation including Polit Bureau member G Ramakrishnan, State Secretary K Balakrishnan and Central Committee member P Shanmugham met the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.K. Stalin and handed over a check of Rs 10 lakh towards Srilankan Humanitarian relief.
Earlier in the month Tamilnadu Chief Minister has appealed to the people of Tamil Nadu to contribute funds towards the State government's efforts to send humanitarian aid to the citizens of Sri Lanka, who have been affected by a crippling economic crisis.
