On the call of SFI Central Executive Committee "Shiksha Bachao-Constitution Save-Desh Bachao", the 'March For Education' started from Kashmir and Kanyakumari simultaneously today on 1st August. Will continue till 15th September. For the first time such a jatha started from Kashmir. The flag off was inaugurated by the protesting voice of the people of Kashmir and the indefatigable soldier for the defense of the country, Comrade Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami. SFI General Secretary Mayukh Biswas, Editorial Board Member Nitish Narayanan were present.
VP Shanu was present in the southern Jatha.
Students from Agartala to Ahmedabad, Patna to Mumbai, Chennai to Jaipur, Shimla to Guwahati will meet in the All India Jatha. On September 2nd, the Mahasambesh will be held in the final phase of the Jatha in the eastern region - in Kolkata.
