Delhi Police Criminal Department has arrested a woman and her son on suspicion of killing her husband and cutting his body into 10 pieces. In a case said to bear chilling similarities to the murder of Shraddha Walker, police sources say the mother and daughter kept the body parts in their fridge and then dumped them in Pandav Nagar and Trilokpuri districts.
The incident will happen in June. A severed head and several body parts were found by the local police near a plot of land in Pandav Nagar, but the body is yet to be identified. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Amit Goel, Director of Crime Control, Delhi Police, said, "On June 5, several body parts were found in Ramlila Square in Eastern Province. Over the next three days, two legs, two thighs were found. And a skull, forearms and a chest fell off. He added, “After that, efforts were made to identify the body. It looks like a gruesome murder. Police identified the body as Anjan Das after analyzing the footage and conducting house-to-house searches.
CCTV footage of the incident shows the defendant walking toward an empty yard with a bag, which appears to contain body parts.
