Instead of looking for government work, the women of South Dinajpur decided to be self-sufficient by doing manual labour. And the leader of a private organisation extended his hand to ensure the success of this project.

Shreya Textile's own marketing house initially handed over bundles of cloth for making nighties to twenty trained women on Tuesday evening in the two-story building of Town Club Market in Balurghat town of South Dinajpur district. Mr. Sushant Kundu, the organization's public relations officer, stated on this day that our goal is to make rural Bengal women self-sufficient in the future. He stated that many women have sat at home with skilled training from government or non-governmental organisations. However, they want to earn money by working with dignity. He stated that in the next three months, we will associate at least one thousand women with our organisation with the goal of making the women of this district self-sufficient and respected on behalf of Shreya Textiles.

Already, one hundred advanced sewing machines have been set up in the Balurghat factory to produce ready-made garments. Work will begin very soon there. He stated that Shreya Textile Company has showrooms in several states, including Kolkata. The company's ready-made fabrics are in high demand not only in the state but also internationally.
