The steadfast promoter Ayan Shil's flat in Salt Lake is currently the center of the investigation by the Intelligence Bureau (IB). Even after 24 hours, the investigation is ongoing with dynamism. According to IB sources, the first items recovered from Ayan's flat were a list of job applicants for a teacher's position, admit cards, and several digital documents.
But that's not all. IB agents were amazed to find a hard disk of a computer at home that had advertisements for job vacancies in several municipalities of the state. Alongside the question of teacher recruitment corruption, there is also speculation about whether Shantanu Bandopadhyay and his associates have involvement in the field of job recruitment in municipalities. The Central Intelligence Bureau is investigating to find the answers to these questions.
There are questions as to why an SSC job candidate would go to a promoter and production house's financier for admission cards and name lists, and whether there would be an OMR sheet. Though Ayan was not found during the start of the investigation on Saturday, he returned later to his flat in Salt Lake where he was also questioned.
