Impressive Public Meeting in Kalaburgi for CPI(M) Candidate after Filing Nomination for Karnataka Assembly
On April 19, 2023, an impressive public meeting was held at Kalaburgi for CPI(M) candidate Pandurang Mavinkar after he filed his nomination papers to the Karnataka state assembly for the Kalaburgi (Rural) constituency.
The well-attended public meeting was presided over by M B Sajjan, and was addressed by CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Dr Ashok Dhawale, State Secretariat member and Kalaburgi District Secretary K Neela, candidate Pandurang Mavinkar, and Party leaders Chennappa Aanegundi and Shrimant Biradar.
All the speakers concentrated their main attack against the anti-people, pro-corporate, corrupt, communal and authoritarian policies of the BJP-led state and central governments, and called for the resounding defeat of the BJP and victory of the CPI(M) in this seat.
In this seat, the CPI(M) is contesting against both BJP and Congress candidates. The JD(S) is supporting the CPI(M) candidates in this and two other assembly seats. The Party is contesting four seats in this Karnataka assembly election.
