Trinamool group clash in Salar, many injured

The Salar area of Bhoratpur-2nd block of Murshidabad got heated up after the announcement of Panchayet election day.
At least 15 people were injured in a clash between two Trinamool groups on Friday afternoon. The injured have been admitted to the local Salar Rural Hospital.
Trinamool Congress sources have informed that an all-party meeting has been called by BDO Ashish Mandal of Bhoratpur-2 nd block on Friday for peaceful submission of nomination papers and peaceful voting in upcoming Panchayet elections.
Apart from Humayun Kabir, the Trinamool MLA of Bharatpur, representatives of other political parties were present in that meeting. At the end of the meeting, a clash broke out between workers close to the MLA and those close to the youth TMC leader.
