রাজ্যের খাদ্য মন্ত্রী রথীন ঘোষ অবশেষে মুখ খুললেন বেআইনি বাজি কারখানায় বিস্ফোরণের বিষয়ে। তিনি বলেন, 'আজ সকালে জানতে পেরেছি এই কাজের সঙ্গে আইএসএফ-এর একটি ছেলে যুক্ত। ওর নাম রমজান। সে এই বাজির কারখানা চালায়। উল্টোদিকে খুদে বলে একটি এলাকার লোক আছে। যার বাড়িতে বিভিন্ন শ্রমিকরা আসেন। ওরা ওই বাড়িতে বসে খাওয়া-দাওয়া করছিল। সেই সময় ব্লাস্ট হয়। আগে জানলে আমি ব্যবস্থা নিতাম।'
রথীন ঘোষের এই বক্তব্যের পর বিরোধীরা তোপ দাগতে শুরু করেছেন। তারা বলছেন, রথীন ঘোষের এই বক্তব্য প্রমাণ করে যে তিনি আগেই এই বাজি কারখানার কথা জানতেন। কিন্তু তিনি তা গোপন করেছিলেন।
এই বিষয়ে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে পুলিশ। তারা বাকি শ্রমিকদেরও জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছে।

The police have started an investigation into the matter. They are also interrogating the rest of the workers.
