Kundra was arrested in July 2021 and spent 63 days in jail before being granted bail. During his time in jail, he was subjected to intense media scrutiny and public backlash.
Speaking at the trailer launch, Kundra reflected on the challenging times he and his family have faced in the past year. He said, "It was the most difficult time of my life. I was away from my family, and I didn't know what the future held."
