BJP leader Devaraje Gowda said he had received 2,976 videos of women, including government officials, performing sexual acts and alleged that JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna used it to blackmail them. The women were allegedly blackmailed to continue engaging in sexual activities with Prajwal, who is ex-PM HD Deve Gowda's grandson. Devaraje allegedly received the videos ahead of 2023 Assembly elections.
