In a heartening display of solidarity, the Students' Federation of India (SFI) has extended timely assistance to hundreds of students stranded in border regions. Through its Helpline Desk, SFI has successfully facilitated the safe evacuation of students from Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chandigarh, and other affected areas, ensuring their well-being during a critical time.
Leading this humanitarian effort was a dedicated team comprising Dipsita Joyi (All India Joint Secretary, SFI), Aishe Ghosh (SFI Delhi State Secretary), Abhijith Manilal (CEC Member), Sooraj Elamon (SFI Delhi State President), Mehina Fathima (SFI Delhi State Joint Secretary), and Anil Sethumadhavan (SFI Delhi State Committee Member). The delegation greeted the arriving students at the railway station and ensured their secure transfer to safe accommodations. Former SFI All India President, Comrade MA Baby, lent his support by visiting the accommodations and offering reassurance to the students.
The Helpline Desk remains operational, tirelessly assisting more students every day. SFI has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to standing with the student community, particularly those in vulnerable regions, and pledged to continue providing aid and support without reservation.
This initiative highlights the power of collective action and empathy, underscoring the importance of staying connected and supporting one another in times of adversity.
