Syrian Communist Party Condemns Zionist-Imperialist Aggression on Iran

The Syrian Communist Party has issued a strong condemnation of the Zionist imperialist aggression launched by Israel against Iran on June 13, 2025. This attack coincides with the ongoing crimes of genocide committed against the Palestinian people and highlights the alignment of Zionist and imperialist forces.
According to the party, the aggression is not merely an isolated event but part of a larger imperialist-Zionist strategy aimed at achieving total domination over the Middle East, a project they identify as "Greater Zion." Iran is seen as the last stronghold resisting this agenda, following the setbacks faced by the Lebanese national resistance and the Western imperialist takeover of Syria.
The party accuses the United States and Israel of full coordination in this attack, with American complicity openly acknowledged by U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The timing of the attack, initially planned for April, was reportedly delayed to align with U.S. strategic objectives, including President Biden’s diplomatic tour of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf in May.
During this tour, the U.S. administration prioritized its goal of consolidating control over the Eastern Mediterranean and broader Middle East, sidelining other regional concerns. The party criticized the Syrian regime for its compliance, as Israeli airstrikes were conducted through Syrian airspace without any resistance or response.
The Syrian Communist Party affirmed its solidarity with the Iranian people in their resistance to Zionist-imperialist aggression and called for an intensified struggle against colonial and oppressive forces in the region.
