Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning, stating that the United States will launch further military action against Iran if the country attempts to restore its nuclear program. Speaking at a rally in Texas, Trump underscored what he described as the "grave threat" posed by a nuclear-armed Iran and reaffirmed his commitment to a strong stance against the Iranian regime.
“Under my watch, Iran will never acquire a nuclear weapon. If they try to restart their program, we will strike again—harder than before,” Trump declared to roaring applause from supporters.
This statement follows recent U.S. airstrikes targeting Iranian facilities. While these strikes caused significant damage to above-ground structures, reports indicate that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles and key centrifuge systems remain intact. Intelligence agencies have also raised concerns about the existence of undisclosed, covert nuclear sites in Iran that may still be operational.
The Iranian government has condemned the strikes as acts of aggression, vowing to defend its sovereignty and retaliate if provoked further.
As tensions escalate, international bodies, including the United Nations, have called for diplomatic solutions to prevent further conflict in the region.
The situation remains volatile, with analysts cautioning that any escalation could have far-reaching consequences for Middle East stability.
