The tone for the final day was set by India's women boxers, who won 5 of the 6 gold medals available in their categories. Preeti Pawar opened the gold floodgates in the 54kg class with a clinical 5-0 victory over Canada’s Scarlett Delgado. Shortly after, reigning world champion Jaismine Lamboria outclassed Northern Ireland's defending champion Michaela Walsh in a unanimous verdict.

Ankush Panghal clinched India's seventh gold with a disciplined 4-1 tactical triumph against England's Dimeji Shittu in the 80kg division.
