Communist Party of India (Marxist) Central Secreteriate Member Vijoo Krishnan inaugurated K.C.Kunhappu Master Memorial Study Centre under Peringome Area Committee of the CPIM.
The inaugural session was presided over by P.Sasi senior leader of the Party and Karshaka Sangham. CPIM Area Secretary Satyapalan welcomed the gathering. Senior leader Govindan and others were present.
K.C.Kunhappu was the main leader and organiser of different struggles in Malabar and a brave martyr of the Munayankunnu uprising against feudal landlords. He was involved with the struggles in Onchiyam, Morazha and other places and is reputed to have had the capacity to arouse the peasantry to raise the banner of revolt wherever he went,
