Mob enters heritage madrasa, performs puja in Karnataka; 9 booked
Nine people were booked and four were reportedly arrested on Thursday after a mob allegedly entered Mohamud Gawan Madrasa in Karnataka's Bidar and performed puja, police said. The mob was a part of a Dussehra procession. The madrasa, built in 1472 AD, is a heritage building maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. A video of the incident surfaced online.
