Ex-JD(S) leader, set to join BJP, found murdered in K'taka; private parts mutilated
Mallikarjun Muthyal, a former JD(S) leader who was set to join the BJP, was killed behind his electronic shop in Sedam town in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district. The 64-year-old was allegedly strangled to death and his private parts were mutilated, the police said. A day before he was murdered, Muthyal attended an event where Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai participated.
