UK inflation soars 11.1%, hits highest in 41 years
UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) declared its annual inflation rate at 11.1% in October, reaching the highest level since 1981. British inflation has climbed to a 41-year high on soaring energy and food bills in a worsening cost-of-living crisis.
