Air India and Nepal Airlines planes nearly collide mid-air
Two employees of the air traffic controller department were suspended by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), after an Air India and a Nepal Airlines aircraft came close to collision mid-air. The Nepal Airlines plane was descending from 15,000 ft while the Air India plane was descending from 19,000 ft, but the pilots' timely action prevented the disaster.
