Kolkata, July 29 : The medical bulletin of former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kolkata, will be released soon, hospital sources said on Saturday.
Bhattacharjee, 77, was admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Alipore on July 28 after he complained of breathlessness and low oxygen levels. He was tested positive for COVID-19 on July 29.
The hospital sources said that Bhattacharjee's condition is stable and he is being treated by a team of doctors.
"The medical bulletin will be released soon," the sources said.
Bhattacharjee was the Chief Minister of West Bengal from 2000 to 2011. He is a senior leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

The medical bulletin released by the Woodlands Hospital on July 29 said that Bhattacharjee is stable and his condition is improving. He is being treated with oxygen support and other medications.
The bulletin said that Bhattacharjee's blood pressure, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation levels are normal. He is also responding well to treatment.
The hospital said that a team of doctors is monitoring Bhattacharjee's condition closely.
