New Delhi: The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held on October 17, 2023, at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The ceremony was graced by President Droupadi Murmu, who presented the awards to the winners.
Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon were jointly awarded the Best Actress award for their performances in the films "Gangubai Kathiawadi" and "Mimi", respectively. Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award for his performance in the film "Pushpa: The Rise".
The biographical drama "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect", written, produced, and directed by R. Madhavan, was adjudged the Best Feature Film. The film is based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.
