Nairobi, Kenya — June 15, 2025
The Sudanese Communist Party (SCP) has emerged as a focal voice in the global fight against oppression, participating in the groundbreaking Fourth International Theoretical Conference on "Compradorism and Bureaucratic Capitalism." Held in Nairobi from May 23 to 24, 2025, the event was the first of its kind in Africa, uniting Marxist-Leninist thinkers and organizations from across the globe.
Organized by the Philippine National Democratic Front and the Marxist Communist Party of Kenya, the conference explored the historical and socio-economic challenges faced by post-colonial nations under imperialist dominance. Delegates analyzed the pervasive influence of American imperialism, exposing the role of local comprador elites and bureaucracies in maintaining global subjugation.
Representing the SCP, Comrade Saleh Mahmoud, a seasoned lawyer and party leader, presented a detailed exposé on Sudan’s ongoing crises. His address shed light on the root causes of the nation’s conflicts, including systemic injustices, war crimes, and the culture of impunity plaguing its governance. He emphasized the critical need for global solidarity to combat the forces sustaining oppression.
The conference concluded with a resounding call for unified action against imperialist agendas. Delegates committed to advancing democratic national revolutions, dismantling dependency, and promoting justice and self-determination for oppressed peoples worldwide.
This historic gathering underscored the Sudanese Communist Party's enduring commitment to justice and liberation, reaffirming its role as a beacon of resistance in the global struggle against tyranny.
