Mass Uprising In Srilanka People Occupied President Palace

In Sri Lanka, the parliament and the president's residence are occupied by people called mass uprisings. The three-month-long mass protests erupted in the center of power today. All opposition parties demanded the resignation of President Rajapaksa.

The country's government has applied for a 50 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Many people have lost their jobs . Opposition parties have called for the occupation of Colombo. People from all over the country have been urged to come to Colombo. Authorities opposed the protest with all available police forces.

The administration was trying to stop the rally by canceling all trains in the country. The government bus service was stopped to stop the rally. But under the pressure of the people, the railway authorities withdrew the decision.

Meanwhile, news came that the ruling party had organized an attack on the anti-government protests.A rally of about 1 lakh people was held in front of the Presidential Palace.At least 20 people were killed and many others were injured in the blast. The administration lost its grip on the people. The barricades collapsed and people entered and carried the President. However, the President fled the residence.

However, considering the situation, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has called an emergency cabinet meeting.The curfew has been virtually broken across the country, all curfews have been lifted under the pressure of the opposition. However, official sources said that the President was in a safe with the army Protection.

Protesters stormed the presidential palace and looted all of the president's household belongings.The only discussion to the whole world now is which way the country will go after the mass coup.
